AE Appliances Repair (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides home-appliance inspection, repair and maintenance services. This page explains how we handle personal information and sets out the terms that apply to our services. Any job-specific terms agreed in writing take priority where they differ from this page, subject always to applicable UAE law.
Independent Service Disclaimer
We are an independent appliance repair company providing fast, reliable, and expert service for all major brands. We are not affiliated with any manufacturer.
AE Appliances Repair is not an authorised service centre, dealer or agent of any appliance manufacturer. Brand names, model names and trademarks mentioned on this website belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the appliances we repair. Their use does not imply any partnership, endorsement or approval.
If your appliance is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, please contact the manufacturer or its authorised service centre first. Repairs carried out by an independent provider may affect a manufacturer’s warranty, depending on that manufacturer’s terms.
1. Personal Information & Its Use
We collect information reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries and deliver our services. This may include your name, telephone number, email address, service location, booking details, correspondence, payment references and photographs or videos of the appliance and work area.
We use this information to:
- Respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and arrange visits.
- Diagnose faults, carry out approved work and keep you updated.
- Process payments, issue invoices and handle warranty or refund requests.
- Resolve complaints and meet applicable legal obligations.
Please avoid sending identification documents, card details or other sensitive personal data that we do not need. We do not sell or rent customer personal information.
2. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for: to answer an enquiry, complete a booking, administer a warranty, process a refund, resolve a complaint, or meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations. After that it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Independent platforms, such as messaging services and payment providers, may keep information under their own policies. Our retention practice does not control records held independently by those providers.
3. Information Sharing & Security
We may share the minimum necessary information with assigned technicians, service partners, hosting or communication providers, payment processors and professional advisers where needed to deliver our services or run our business. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or a competent authority.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and restrict access to people who need it for legitimate purposes. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
4. Privacy Requests, Cookies & Advertising
You may contact us to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to exercise other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity first. Deletion may be restricted where we are legally required to keep a record.
This website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads measurement, to understand how the site is used and to measure enquiries from our advertising. These tools may collect information such as your device, browser, pages visited and actions such as call or WhatsApp button clicks. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. External websites and platforms have their own privacy policies.
5. Quotations, Scope & Additional Work
- Our quotation covers only the work, parts and materials expressly described in the approved scope.
- Prices given from photographs, videos or a description may change after inspection. Any revised price must be approved before the affected work goes ahead.
- Additional faults, concealed damage, extra parts or work outside the approved scope will be quoted separately and need your approval.
- Approval may be given through an accepted quotation, email, WhatsApp message or another clear written confirmation.
6. Inspection, Diagnosis & Existing Conditions
- Any inspection or diagnostic charge will be told to you before the visit. Unless agreed otherwise, it covers attendance and assessment, not a guaranteed repair.
- Diagnosis is based on the appliance’s condition and the tests possible at the time. Intermittent faults or hidden defects may only appear later.
- Repairing one fault does not guarantee the condition of every component or the remaining life of the appliance.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, corrosion, hidden leaks or unrelated component failures, except where our work causes or worsens the damage.
7. Customer Responsibilities & Site Access
- The customer must have authority to approve work at the property and arrange any building or community permissions.
- Please provide safe access to the appliance, working electricity and water where needed, and tell us about known hazards or previous repairs. Keep children and pets away from the work area.
- We may stop work where conditions are unsafe or access is not available.
8. Payments & Scheduling
Prices, payment terms and any applicable VAT are confirmed in your quotation before work starts. Visit times depend on availability, access and parts. We will tell you promptly about any material delay.
9. Workmanship Warranty
Our repairs carry a workmanship warranty for the period stated on your invoice or quotation. It covers defects in our workmanship on the specific fault we repaired. Where inspection confirms a covered defect, we will put it right without further labour charges for that fix.
The warranty does not cover unrelated faults or parts we did not repair or fit, or faults caused by:
- Misuse, accidental damage or not following the operating instructions.
- Power surges, unstable electricity or water-supply problems.
- Normal wear and tear, corrosion or lack of maintenance.
- Later work by someone else, where that work caused or contributed to the fault.
Please report a suspected workmanship issue within the warranty period with your booking or invoice details, and allow us reasonable access to inspect it. This does not limit your rights under applicable law.
10. Spare Parts & Manufacturer Warranty
As an independent repair provider, we do not manufacture parts and are not authorised to give a manufacturer’s warranty. Replacement parts carry whatever warranty their supplier or manufacturer offers, under that party’s terms. We will tell you which parts we fit and any warranty that applies to them.
For parts you supply yourself, our warranty covers only our fitting work. Nothing here excludes our responsibility for faulty fitting or any mandatory obligations for goods we supply.
11. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Send cancellation and refund requests through our contact details below, with your booking or invoice details.
- Where a refund is due, we may deduct reasonable, documented costs already incurred for that job, such as completed inspection or labour, transport and parts specially ordered that cannot be returned. We will explain each deduction.
- These deductions do not apply where they would reduce a refund or remedy required by law for faulty parts or poor service.
- Refunds are normally returned through the original payment method. If we cancel before providing any service, any advance payment is refunded in full.
12. Responsibility & Liability
We carry out the agreed work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by pre-existing defects, unrelated failures, third-party actions, utility interruptions or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Complaints & Applicable Law
Please contact us promptly if you are unhappy with a service so we can look into it and propose a fair resolution. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Nothing on this page removes mandatory consumer rights or stops you from approaching a competent authority. Updates to this page apply from their date and do not reduce rights under work already approved.
